President Obama and his family took a trip to Cuba where they were given a very unimpressive welcome – to say the least.
The President arrived at the airport and was greeted by a number of Cuban officials but President Paul Castro was nowhere to be found. The apparent disrespect for the United States went unnoticed by the Obama administration.
Fortunately, GOP candidates vocalized how the American people felt about the insult. Both, Mr. Trump and Ted Cruz took to social media stating -
The historic visit comes after Obama worked to lift the Cuban embargo to better our relationship with the notoriously corrupt country. Obama is the first United States President to visit the country in over 90 years.
If you think the absence of President Castro was a disrespectful maneuver, then leave a comment or share!
