The liberal media is trying to claim that under President Trump's immigration reform his wife Melania Trump would have been deported during the 1990s.
The Associated Press released her visa history stating that her 1996 "travelers visa" was violated when she supposedly earned money as a model. Moreover, they're suggesting that Mrs. Trump committed fraud by illegally earning U.S. dollars without having a "working visa."
Under Trump's new immigration policy the government is supposed to deport people who "“engaged in fraud or willful misrepresentation in connection with any official matter or application before a government agency”.
That may be true, but Melania's violation is not! This issue was settled back in September before the President stepped foot in the Oval Office. Melania's lawyers proudly released a letter defending the legality of her immigration process and thus shutting down the media during their first attempt to undermine her credibility.
Michael J. Wildes, Trump’s lawyer headed the project that filtered through Melania’s entire work history in the United States.
"Mrs. Trump illegally worked as a model in the United States while on a visitor visa. Following a review of her relevant immigration paperwork, I can unequivocally state that these allegations are not supported by the record, and are therefore completely without merit,” said Wildes."
One again, the liberal media is trying their absolute best to take a little bit of information and twist it into a major headline. They need to realize that Trump supporters do not buy into their claims. They understand Trump's intentions and his overall mission.
The immigration reform plan is meant to increase security and protect the country from potential terrorists. Donald wouldn't waste government funds on chasing down a supermodel! In fact, the supposed hundreds of people who were stopped at the airports after the ban were all eventually let into the country. Yes, they underwent some extensive security checks. But, if they have nothing to hide and want to work just like Melania, then they should be happy with the checks because they are instilled to protect their lives as well.
President Trump's immigration plan is not as simple as the media wants it to be because governing is not simple. At the end of the day, every American wants the country to be safe. Donald is merely taking action to try new policies that can start to fix our borders. Are their going to be bumps in the road? Sure, and Donald is aware of that. But, at-least he is putting in the effort.
